Weird I woke up today and remembered going to work the morning after Mike killed himself. I remembered the conversation with my boss and I also remembered the conversation the day before in the bar about Mike her and I had. Its just funny to me how my brain has blocked that memory for many years and now today it was so super vivid and clear. wonder what trigers shit like that?

Wow I guess they never delete accounts here!. . I stopped posting here long ago as it was a painful reminder of Mikes death somehow. 3 years later I am still all messed up in the head and have a hard time dealing with it. But I thought I would post so maybe in 3 more years I will feel like journaling again!

i just installed the coolest little program called "synergy" it lets me use my mouse and keyboard on all 3 computers via the network and no switches just moving my mouse over to the next monitor like i am running dual monitors but the are actually 3 seperate computers. how cool is this?

so i have 4 cavities and need $1300 of work, and to replace my bridge with a implant is $1500 or so. I guess i can swollow that for myself. but now i took the cats to the vet and scottland needs $300 of plaque removed from his teeth, they are bad and lots of buildup, peter is not too bad but does need some also. so both cats $500 for the deal. I am crazy? do people really spend $500 on their cats teeth? i mean i guess its better than waiting 5 years and having to get scottland dentures! i feal like i have to do it, is it a scam? can cats teeth rot away like everone elses, i guess it makes sense? and then i have to start brushing their teeth everyday? can we share my soniccare? do i have to floss them also? being a parent is sooo much work...

Well we get keys for new place on friday! its a house so i am pretty excited! a grill, a backyard (huge), a garage for kitties, a big room for my tv and can have a movie room again, a hose and driveway so i can wash my car, computer room. dish wants $50 and a 1 year contract to move my dish, so i am doing it myself like usual.

i am such a dork. I bought this http://www.phanderson.com/iom13x_usb.html board that uses Maxim (yes the place in beaverton, not the magazine but the IC company) 1-wire temperature probes. i have 4 probes up and running and 8 more on order. so i am going to wire up work and have all the refers and the rooms monitored for temperature. i wrote a VB script to check them every 3 min email my phone if things are not right. Yea i could have bought one ($800 plus $500 software) or had ADT do it for $50 a month. but the whole project cost me $150 and i get to play and costomize it how i want it. the only issue so far is for a .vbs to send email now their has to be someone there to click ok because of all the .vbs viruses people sent around, so i need a work around to let .vbs send email with no human interaction on win 2000

Lately the ad syndicate companies are using more and more Flash animations to launch popups. An example of such a Flash is »cdn.fastclick.net/fastclick.net/ffp.sw..

Firefox 1.0 & Mozilla 1.7.5 and later are able to block these popups if you create (or set) the integer preference 'privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins' with value 2. To do this, type
    about:config
in the address bar, and then type
    popup
in the 'Filter' field (this limits the number of prefs displayed). Look if you already have the pref (it's not in the list by default). If not, right-click anywhere in the pref list, and select
    New -> Integer
Type
    privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins
as its name, and
    2
as its value. The pref should be effective immediately, if not restart.
Note that it works for FF1.0+ / Moz1.7.5+. Earlier versions cannot benefit from blocking popups from Flash or other plugins.
Note too that it blocks windows popped up from other plugins, for instance from Java applets.

Values for privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins have the following effect:
0 = lets all popups through
1 = limits their number to dom.popup_maximum (even with popup blocker disabled)
2 = blocks popups from plugins
3 = blocks them even on whitelisted sites.

well I spend the majority of the day working on Brother in laws web site www.occmedicine.com i think i like the general look, the top banner is crap, flash is cool and all but i am not very creative and cant figure ot what to do with it. Need generic photos for each page. need him to fill in the blank pages. it say a good 50% point on it, maybe next weekend ill have more ideas.

I just watch the movie "primer", was very good, was like the Matrix the first time making my brain spin to keep up with it all. One of the very few movies ill watch again to see what I get out of it the next spin around.

Now QAF in HD to see some skin and stop the hurt on my brain this movie just caused
